Learn English: Wildlife and Comparative/Superlative Adjectives

This English course aims to build your vocabulary related to animals, their attributes, and their habitats. The grammar section will allow you to develop your grammar skills by concentrating on comparative and superlative adjectives, which you can use when describing animals. The course also lets you keep track of your learning in the student practice section, which includes activities designed to enhance your reading and listening comprehension.

Learning English can be challenging, and since language learning is a continuous process, it requires perseverance and commitment. This course is designed to help you stay on track as it starts by helping you build vocabulary related to animals. You will research various habitats worldwide by watching videos and listening to the audios provided. You will then connect what you have learned about animals in the vocabulary topic to the topics covered in the grammar section.
The first grammar topic covers comparative adjectives, used to compare and describe different nouns or pronouns, for example:' My dog is bigger than your cat'. You will also discover how to use words such as 'much', 'a lot', or 'far' before a comparative adjective to emphasize it more. The second grammar topic examines superlative adjectives, which can be used when comparing three or more things to the highest degree. This course will show you how to add '-est' or 'most' when comparing three things, for example: 'John is the youngest boy in the class', or 'She has the most beautiful eyes in the school.'
The final section of this course will advance your reading, speaking, listening, and writing skills. Discover all the details of what it entails to own a pet with the reading exercise and audio clips, and learn about the Metropolitan Zoo, which showcases a variety of animals. This course also allows you to practice speaking by answering questions about animals before finishing with a writing activity that you can download from the 'Resources' section.
